About Towing Limits

Towing Limits is an independent reference for towing capacity, payload and the other weight ratings that decide what a vehicle can safely pull.

Most towing numbers online are copied from site to site, often for the wrong engine, cab or axle. We go back to the source every time: each vehicle figure on this site is taken from the manufacturer's own published towing guide or owner information for that model year, and each page links to that document so you can check it yourself.

How we work

  • We extract figures from the manufacturer's document, then check every line against the original before it goes live.
  • When a maker publishes a correction or a new model year, we update the page and note the date.
  • Our calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us.
  • We are not affiliated with any vehicle or trailer maker. The site is supported by advertising.
